A beautiful, quiet forest path leads from Zapfen towards Waldschäftli through the Forsttobel.

This path is not signposted and is therefore naturally very quiet.

When there is snow and there are no tracks, finding your way can require a bit of a sense of direction.

The Forststobel: wild, rough, steep, narrow, swampy, wildly romantic, so just cool 🤩 But I advise against it in winter with a lot of snow (even with snowshoes). And going up is definitely a bit easier than going down.

Now that I know the path even without snow, I am even more delighted than before ... a somewhat desolate area where it ripples wonderfully everywhere and the path leads over many small Brüggli. The traily path leads over beautiful rooty paths, but there are usually also muddy areas ... so not for everyone ;-). At least I like it here enormously.
