The monument erected on the steps of the churchyard, reminiscent of the three hundred heather victims of World War II, depicts a sitting female figure leaning on a column in front of four stone slabs marking a year.
The memorable years are 1943, 1944, 1945, 1947. The inscription "They lived with us, they died for us" is engraved on a stone slab in front of the monument. The monument, which bears a strong resemblance and almost the same identity as the one in Tamási (also by Tibor Borbás), was inaugurated by Lieutenant Colonel László Erdős, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Second World War for Tolna County. .
