A wooden bridge for pedestrians and cyclists. The bridge leads over the Jeetzel and connects Dannenberg's city center with Thielenburg Lake and the circular path that leads around the lake.
From the bridge you have a beautiful view of the Jeetzel. To the south you can see the Dannenberg school center, to the north you can see a small weir and the Amtsberg.
A few meters from the bridge, on the "lake side" of the Jeetzel (east side), there is a boarding point for canoes, inflatable boats, etc.
Addendum from 03/20/2023:
Recently the old wooden bridge, which had to be shored up because the piers had rotted away, was demolished and a new bridge was built which is also open and usable. The new bridge now rests on two large steel girders, the running boards and the bridge railings are made of wood.
