A beautiful, moderately difficult ascent is rewarded with magnificent views. From here a steep 400 m descent leads to the Hirschsprung. An absolute recommendation for sure-footed hikers.

Standing on craggy rocks or sitting on one of the benches, you can let your gaze wander into the vastness and depth of the Franconian Forest. The underground is a foretaste of the beautiful path to the deer jump. King David can be reached via a manageable path.
