Paths in many directions and a parking lot a few hundred meters above, making this an ideal starting point for hikes and runs. If necessary, the hut offers protection from adverse weather conditions.
If you like, explore the surroundings:
The Gaisbergturm in a westerly direction is recommended.
There is an arboretum with sequoia trees right in the neighborhood. A little further down the slope to the south is a place that shows the extent of these trees in their native areas of North America.
And at the end of May and beginning of June the rhododendrons bloom up by the parking lot. This is an absolute highlight during the flowering period.
