At the heart of the local community of Dreifelden is the Protestant church, the oldest stone church in the Westerwald. Its origins date back to the early Romanesque period around the year 1000. The church was a pilgrimage church until the Reformation period. The place name Dreifelden comes from its name - Trinity Church.
