The artful willow creations in the Sahara are toys by artist Will Beckers. Anyone who has already visited other nature reserves in Bosland may have already seen work by Will. For example, he has designed a mysterious work of art "Back to the roots" that you can view in Pelt: komoot.com/nl-nl/highlight/868916

For 2023, Will has also been chosen to create a total experience artwork in the Sahara that should be the gateway to Bosland. More about this and his vision on bosland.be/gastvrij-bosland/ambassadeurs/will-beckers/188

The two constructions that you find here (they are called here the tipi, the tunnel, willow huts or simply art - and the play snake is not part of that) are part of the play forest and are therefore also more play works of art.

Very beautiful art... you can find several in the Bosland National Park. While cycling through the trees we saw a very nice big one

Art in the forest should be possible and is certainly appreciated by the youngest among us. Various works of art in natural materials have been planted in this part of the forest. From huts to a mysterious tunnel and a playful viper. Playing in and around the works of art is allowed.
