The path is currently (as of July 2nd, 2019) in excellent condition. It is therefore a relaxing place to ride your bike.
The contrast between nature on the other side and the graffiti-covered sheet piling on this side of the Weser is also curious.

In the past you had to take the bumpy path of the small Lemwerder airport to get to the ferry to Vegesack, now the great bike path right on the water has been ready for about 2 years! Little going, no problems even on weekends.
