On the south side of the Heinrich Roller Street in Prenzlauer Berg, the long brick wall of the cemetery of St. Nikolai and St. Marien runs along churches. But if you step through the narrow gate here, you are not standing on any ordinary cemetery - but in the quiet park.

A large part of the cemetery was for sale in 2007, but at the instigation of local residents, the district bought the area and carefully transformed the cemetery to a small park. Parts of the old magnificent tombs are still preserved, in addition to play opportunities, lawns and a beautiful circular route. The well-hidden park is actually known only to the residents of the surrounding streets and so it is actually always pretty quiet - a true "quiet park".
