The landmark of the city of Fulda. In the spiritual world as the seat of the diocese of Fulda and the destination of the Boniface pilgrimage, the High Cathedral in Fulda plays an outstanding role. But the building is also very popular as an excursion destination and photo opportunity. The surrounding buildings and the forecourt of the cathedral are really impressive.

It is particularly atmospheric in the evening when it is (almost) closed for visitors, the lights are off and the remaining light of the day shines in through the windows. Then the cathedral looks even bigger and more impressive.
