The Lavenderhoeve or "Limburg Lavender" as some have known it has been closed since January 1, 2023. You can still buy lavender plants there, but in terms of visits, only group visits are possible on request until the end of 2023. The site reads: "Due to the If the City of Hasselt did not allow the necessary permits, Limburg Lavendel vzw was closed to the public from January 1, 2023. Group visits will remain possible by appointment until the end of 2023. The entrance fee for this is 4.00 euros per person." limburglavendel.be/?menu=Opening hours

During the lavender flowering period from mid-June to the end of August you can see the beautiful lavender. Then it smells wonderful. One can enjoy the collection of gardens and Mediterranean gardens. The nature park with frog pond and bat cave. The animal pasture, cozy sitting areas, vegetable gardens and distillation room. There is a shop and drinking area here.
