            There are two benches here and you have a great view of the lake and the city beyond. Mostly quiet, but generally there are a lot of people at Plötzensee. Then less in the evening.

              One of my favorite places in Berlin. You can swim so nicely. If it is really warm in summer, it quickly gets full at all bathing areas. Then it is worth taking a bath an hour before sunset, then it is mostly empty again.

                    The heart of the area surrounding the lake in Wedding is the Plötzensee lido. There is a café in the entrance building. The sandy beach is equipped with a children's playground and several sports fields where visitors can play volleyball, table tennis or football.                           Reeds and shrubs: Most of the shore areas have been off-limits since September 2021 to protect plant and animal habitats.
