Great theater,
Majestic monument built by Victor Louis during the reign of Luis XVI. was built. It will be modeled on the architecture of the Opera Garnier de Paris. There is a wooden statue in front of it. (9 trees and 3 trees (Minerva, Venus and Juno)).

The theater was built between 1773 and 1780 by the architect Victor Louis and the inauguration and theater operations began on April 7, 1780 with the drama Athalie by Jean Racine.
The Grand Théâtre is the most important theater in the city and the metropolitan region in southwest France and is the venue of the Opéra National de Bordeaux for opera/operetta, spoken theater, concerts, dance theater and events. The Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux with around 1,100 seats is located in the center of the city of Bordeaux about 300 meters west of the banks of the Garonne. The theater building consists of an approximately rectangular building in plan, the main front of which is oriented approximately southwest towards the Place de la Comedie. It was built from brown natural stone and has two towering full floors and a lower staggered floor with a slightly sloping metal roof. The entrance portal can be reached via five steps of an outside staircase and is framed by twelve columns in the Corinthian style with corresponding capitals. Above there are twelve statues: those of the nine muses and the goddesses Juno, Venus and Minerva.
