On the plateau there is a viewpoint to the west with a view of the Leine valley near Uder. In the distance you can see the elevations of the Hennefeste (446.4 m), the Sandwald (477.2 m on the Schärfe), the Dransfelder Stadtwald (492.5 m on the Hohen Hagen) and the Rusteberg (397.6 m). To the north towards Rengelrode there is another viewpoint with a view of the Eichsfeld hills.
