    The Mühlenbecker See is a somewhat hidden but beautiful forest lake. It is particularly used by locals looking for a quiet place to relax. Especially in summer it is a good alternative to the mostly overcrowded bathing lakes in the Berlin area. Wonderfully quiet and another real insider tip! Shhh!

                  the 9-10 kilometer circular route is ideal. It's very varied. In the south-western section in particular, the lake is very boggy and scenic. The paths are not technically demanding. The roots invite small children to run around, especially on the north side of the lake. In sections, the path is also a bit damp and boggy. I wouldn't necessarily want to hike here for a long time immediately after it rains.
