The large Kürsingerhütte has space for 150 guests and is located at 2,558 meters. In summer it is a popular base for climbing the Großvenediger. The view of the glaciers from the hut is fantastic! Curiously, there is even an indoor climbing facility. Please note that there is no network or WiFi in the Obersulzbachtal and at the Kürsingerhütte.

The Kürsingerhütte is a mountain hut belonging to the Salzburg section of the Austrian Alpine Association. It is located at an altitude of 2558 m north of the Großvenediger in the state of Salzburg in Austria. Alongside the Neue Prager Hütte and the Defreggerhaus, it is the third starting point for tours of the Großvenediger. The hut is located in the core zone of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
The hut team is very friendly and accommodating. You immediately feel at home. The atmosphere is family-like. The food is good, especially the coffee^^!

The Kürsingerhütte lies at the foot of the north side of the Großvenediger in 2558m. It is a popular destination in summer and winter and serves as the basis for climbing several 3000s of the Venediger group in the Hohe Tauern National Park.
