The Meinweg itself is a beautiful about 7.7 km long "race track". Almost no car traffic. maybe some walkers. The route runs from Herkenbosch (NL) through the nature reserve Meinweg up to the German border (near Oberkrüchten). Approximately 5 km lead through forest area partly with heathland. The rest is between meadows. At first there is still a rough tar cover but from the crossing of a disused railway line is an excellent new tar cover. There are 3 longer slopes with up to about 4 - 6% slope to overcome the 130 Hm. Whoever drives faster than 44 km / h on average is the new King of the Mountain!

Of course you can also drive slowly and then comfortably visit the beautiful surroundings. Nice goals are z. B. Brüggen, Lüttelforst or the Meuse. All within a few miles of good bike paths to reach.
