The Harz Nature Park (Lower Saxony) is located in southern Lower Saxony in the districts of Goslar and Göttingen (formerly Osterode am Harz).
The nature park, located in the Harz Mountains, was founded in 1960 and is around 790 km² in size.
The responsible body is the Harz Regional Association.
The nature park should not be confused with the much smaller former Harz National Park (Lower Saxony), which was merged with the Harz National Park (Saxony-Anhalt) in 2006 to form the Harz National Park.
