From the plate you reach a path to the castle ruin Weissenstein. The descent is demanding and full of technical passages. But if you come there, you can enjoy a wonderful view on the castle ruins.

The Weißenstein ruins stand on the 863m high Weißenstein in the Steinwald and are definitely worth seeing. Although the small castle never played a major role historically, it is unique due to its location in the middle of a bizarre stone formation. The Steinwaldia Pullenreuth e. V. restored the remaining parts of the building between 1996 and 2000 and ensured the preservation of the cultural and historical monument. In an information pavilion, hikers receive information about the history of Weißenstein and the renovation of the facilities. The Weißenstein castle ruins are an attraction for hikers, but also a backdrop for concerts, theater performances and other cultural events.
