Old Faithful is the largest of the petrified logs on this trail, and is a feature as prominent to Petrified Forest National Park as Old Faithful geyser is to Yellowstone. You will see many other large, colorful logs on this loop trail.

This 0.4 mile roundtrip features some of the largest and most colorful logs in the park. "Old Faithful", located at the top of the trail, is almost ten feet wide at the base.

An easy walk past the giants of the past and the petrified tree cores right in front of your nose - this is unforgettable. Also good for wheelchair users.
