The ten-kilometer-long Velilltrail winds its way down 1,447 meters to Ischgl with great views. The trail is challenging, with numerous curves and rough passages through the forest. The trail takes its name from the stream of the same name, which you follow for a good stretch. The landscape along the way is simply wonderful - but don't let that distract you too much; it's better to stop and enjoy the panorama.
The trail entrance is right at the Idjoch cable car mountain station. Another tip: take the last cable car up the mountain and experience the descent in the special atmosphere of the evening light.
