The center of Eisfeld is the market square and the fountain in its center. Surrounded by the city administration with tourist information and museum and the market pharmacy, with a view of the church, the market fountain stands on the cobblestone square.
The fountain's inauguration ceremony took place on June 16, 1906. It has a central column decorated with lion heads and reliefs. Even today, the flower-decorated fountain serves as an eye-catcher and refreshment on hot days.
