The bronze model of the historic city center is located between the town hall entrance and the registry office. With the 1 x 1.60 meter model, Egberg Broerken has created a "city model to see, feel and understand", and very importantly also with explanations in Braille.

There are only three of these city models in the state of Brandenburg: in Brandenburg, in Sans Soucci and in Perleberg. In April 2012, the board of the citizens' association decided to make a visible contribution to the city's culture with the bronze city model for the city's anniversary, 775 years of Perleberg.

An almost 800-year-old old town with historical flair, which is characterized by renovated half-timbered houses and charming streets - this is Perleberg, also called "Pearl of Prignitz". The former Hanseatic city is surrounded by both arms of the Stepenitz and is therefore one of the few cities whose old town area is characterized by a recognizable island location. The well-preserved ensemble of the old town gives the city an extraordinary charm. The attractions of today's district capital of the Prignitz district are sometimes quiet, sometimes obvious: historic town center with building culture from the 14th - 21st century, statue of Roland (16th century), year-round cultural events, celebrations and festivals, town with nature, oasis for recreation and Active vacationers, developed network of cycle paths.
