Visiting the Botanical Gardens of Mauritius is an absolute must for every nature lover. The facility makes a very well-kept impression. Highlights include a pond with giant water lilies and a lotus pond. There is also an enclosure with giant tortoises and one with deer. With a bit of luck you can see wild flying foxes high up in the trees.
