A lovely loop around part of the Sylvenstein Reservoir. From the bridge, I followed a narrow hunter's trail on the north side of the reservoir. The trail wasn't marked on any of my maps; I only discovered it thanks to some Komoot users (many thanks for the inspiration!). Sure enough, early that morning

Finally, I made it to the now permanently closed climbing park near Buchenhain. The path down to the Isar River is also closed, so I had to find an alternative route. I continued along beautiful paths by the Isar towards Schäftlarn, returning through the Forstenrieder Park. I really should have listened

Auf grünen Wegen aus München heraus nach Dachau. Einer Beschreibung des roten Wanderführers folgend ging es vom Olympiapark auf versteckten Wegen entlang von vielen Höhepunkten Richtung Dachau. Olympiagelände, Attentat-Gedenkstätte, Loher See, Allacher Forst, Blick auf Rangierbahnhof München, Würmkanal und Eichinger See waren Einige.

Abwechslungsreiche Tour von Tutzing mit Ilka zur Ilkahöhe 😉. Weiter zu den Seen rund um den Deixlfurter See (war gerade abfischen). Dann durch die Waldschmidtschlucht zum Starnberger See. Am See entlang nach Tutzing und zum Ausgangspunkt zurück.

Rundtour durch die Ammerschlucht mit den Schleierfällen. Wobei der letzte Abschnitt zu den eigentlichen Fällen wegen Naturschutz gesperrt gewesen ist. Auf der Westseite der Schlucht sind die Wege teilweise aufgelassen und somit in einem schlechten Zustand (und laut Naturparkverwaltung Ammergauer Alpen "eine Begehung nicht zu empfehlen"). Trotzdem schöne Aussichten auf die Schlucht und auch die Ostseite ist, obwohl man sich von der Schlucht entfernt, auch sehr Abwechslungsreich.

A beautiful "Lasso" route up the Sulten, north of the Kampenwand. Since it's a north-facing ascent, unfortunately there's a lot of shade. But the summit offers a lovely view of Lake Chiemsee.
