At first glance, the Kienberg summit is completely uninteresting:
*No summit cross
*No hut
*No view
*No marked hiking trails
*And the recommended Komoot tours don't really lead there either. 😊😊

At second glance, the entire Kienberg is a very nice hiking and gravel cycling area.
*It is completely isolated.
*It is not as destroyed as the Franconian Forest directly opposite the Haßlachtal.
*At the right time of year there are endless blueberries
*The Detsch country inn in Haig is not far.

The best way to reach the summit is via a beautiful forest path that branches off from the west from one of the forest roads and leads easily up to the highest point.
The path is not yet marked on Komoot and OSM, but is clearly visible in the Bavaria Atlas as a dashed path.
You can also follow this U-shaped forest path downhill and come out onto a forest path that leads down to Hain or Rottelsdorf.
