THE FAVORITE PARK OF STRASBOURG PEOPLE

Since the 18th century, the Orangerie Park has been the favorite place for Strasbourg residents to go for a walk. The park has been a listed monument since 1993 because it is remarkable both from a landscape art and historical point of view.

The vast green oasis delights walkers in all seasons. But the park is also the ideal destination for a family outing. A detour is well worth it!

An idyllic setting

The Orangerie Park is a beautiful natural heritage site with centuries-old trees. Its remarkably designed landscape extends over a good 26 hectares.

It enchants with its great variety of atmospheres and settings. The French-style promenade (built in the 18th century), with its regular tree-lined avenues geometrically intersecting, coexists with the more untamed English-style layouts of the following century, with their winding avenues and small
