I like it a lot but only in the direction towards Olmeto (west/east) done 90% by bike, otherwise you have to push too hard, this tour I do the opposite.

If you have the right skill level, the downhill part is definitely doable and a lot of fun. It is very blocked, rocky and rough. Where it goes uphill, it is hardly doable. For me it was great and I would do it again. My wife and daughter were less enthusiastic.

Today we "rode" our MTBs - we are not professionals, nor are we (semi-)professionals, we like to ride a lot of MTBs in our free time. But this tour is too extreme - we would call it an "MTB triathlon": riding, pushing and heaving/carrying the MTB. A very nice tour in itself, but next time we would rather hike it - the middle section over a distance of around 3 km took around 1 hour. We kept asking ourselves whether there are people who can really ride down or up something like that (the "fly-MTB" doesn't exist yet...)

2024/07: beautiful route, still easily accessible even on a racing bike. You won't come across a single car 🤗

very interesting but avoid the restaurant

the préhistoric site is nice. But don't eat in the restaurant - too expensive and lousy quality (but their homemade beer is good)
