The Ras de Carançà refuge is located where its name describes, practically halfway between the Coll de Carançà and Toès i les Valls. Whether you are coming from the gorges, unique with its rock-cut balcony path and footbridges, whether you are hiking the GR10 towards Mantet or Planès, or whether the aim of your walk is the lakes of Carançà or Núria, you will find reception, accommodation and food. There is a single dormitory with about twenty beds, plus tents are available. No showers, dry toilets outside but a gorgeous river nearby. Old fashioned shelter like before but still with all kinds of drinks and something to eat. We operate in partnership management and we all work as such, we do everything we can to make your stay memorable. Refuge kept between May and September (consult the website according to the season (http://www.refugedelacaranca.com/). Out of season it keeps an open part: the bedroom with 22 places (without blankets or mattresses) a common room and a stove firewood Thank you for respecting the place, taking away the rubbish, glass bottles and cleaning the rooms before you leave.
