There are several options for pitching your tent in the area. There's a small stream right in front of the hut.

There are still bed bugs (punaises de lit) in this cabin. We don't sleep here. There are also mice living in the cabin - at least there is droppings on the beds and we saw a few around. Luckily there is just enough space between the well and the table for a two-person tent. Not ideal, but better than sleeping inside 😀

There is water here.

Very welcoming ♥️ I arrived at 9:30 p.m. and had dinner 🍽️ and access to the refuge with a warm and unique setting 😍 with an alarm clock above a white coat 🥰

The Arago cabin is located at an altitude of 2,123 meters on the path which leads to the Canigou peak from the Mariailles refuge. It has 6 beds as well as some bivouac spaces. A small spring flows not far from the building.
