There are still bed bugs (punaises de lit) in this cabin. We don't sleep here. There are also mice living in the cabin - at least there is droppings on the beds and we saw a few around. Luckily there is just enough space between the well and the table for a two-person tent. Not ideal, but better than sleeping inside 😀

Very welcoming ♥️ I arrived at 9:30 p.m. and had dinner 🍽️ and access to the refuge with a warm and unique setting 😍 with an alarm clock above a white coat 🥰

The Estanyol refuge is a free cabin located on the GR10 between the Cortalets refuge and the Batère refuge. It offers a pleasant break at 1,484 meters above sea level.

The small Pinateil shelter is located at 1,652 meters above sea level. Located on the HRP (Haute Route Pyrénéenne) and Canigou tour trail, it has a few beds.
