The Königsteich is located in the north of the city. A footpath and walking path leads around it and you can find beautiful fishing spots all around the pond. If you want to indulge in your passion in peace and not be constantly pelted with bread, don't sit directly in front of the adjacent retirement home but choose a more hidden spot in one of the existing bays, mostly covered with willows. The Königsteich is located on the northern outskirts of Bad Oldesloe, not far from the Bürgerpark. On the way back from the Brenner Moor, you pass the Altfresenburg estate straight here to the Königteich. An idyllic hiking trail leads around the pond and benches invite you to take a break with great views of the pond.

The Fresenburger Wallberg is located about one kilometer northwest of the center of the town of Bad Oldesloe on a moraine hill. It is sheltered in a swampy meadow valley, which is bordered to the west and south by the Trave and to the east by the Wökenitz.
