On the route from the church to the marked point of the bicycle highlight "Cunewalde" there is a 7-8% gradient to be mastered. For us lowland Tyroleans without an e-bike, it meant clenching our teeth and persevering :-)

The "Umburbehaus-Park" project has been developed as a measure project for employment policy measures since the end of the 1990s. In April 2008 the first half-timbered house model was set up in the park. The official inauguration and delivery to the public took place on May 28, 2009. Source: information board in the park

The miniature houses were expertly built on a scale of 1: 5 by employees of the Sächsische Bildungsakademie Bauwesen in Bautzen.

16 heritage-protected half-timbered houses from Upper Lusatia can be viewed as true-to-original models not far from the church in the Cunewalde half-timbered house park. The miniature houses were expertly built on a 1: 5 scale and show various particularly typical designs. Visiting the park is free and you can donate small change.
