The Communstolln is a mining facility first documented in 1739. Today, it is 300 meters long and, after extensive reconstruction, was used as a water tunnel for the drinking water supply of the town of Lößnitz from 1866 onwards. At that time, the flow rate was 200 liters of water per minute. St. John's Church is the largest neoclassical church in the Ore Mountains and boasts the second-oldest bronze carillon in Germany. Here you get a point for the SummitLynx digital hiking pin The Evangelical Lutheran Church was consecrated in 1826. The Saalkirche is the largest neoclassical church in the Ore Mountains and has one of the oldest bronze carillons in Germany. The previous building burned down during the last major fire in the city on December 10, 1806.
