The market square is the center of the city. On Saturdays, a fruit and vegetable market takes place on the market square. The large fountain made of polished granite is striking, with its lively water movement varying in many forms. The fountain functions as a water feature and invites you to cool off on sunny days. The lively play of water should dominate both visually and with the help of light and acoustics, i.e. water movements in many forms as nature creates and shapes them. The accessible fountain functions as a water feature. The town hall dominates the square. In May 2008, the Constantine foot was positioned on the market square between the 3.50 meter high columns that have adorned the market square next to the fountain since the early 1990s. The Constantine foot is a replica and was made for the Constantine exhibition in Trier in 2007.

The first steps towards preserving a technical monument on the Konz Schiller Bridge began in August 2014 with preparations for dismantling the 78-year-old Class 64 tender locomotive. In February 2015, the Konz industrial monument (pictures attached) was dismantled into three parts - the driver's cab, boiler and chassis. The parts were transported from the locomotive's previous location at the Lichtsmühle to the Deutsche Bahn bridge construction warehouse, where it was then lovingly restored by members of the association. The driver's cab was completely replaced.

The Imperial Palace was built in the 4th century on a high terrace overlooking the Saar. Not much of the residence has survived. A few walls have been reconstructed and provided with information boards.

The locomotive has stood as a memorial in Konz since April 18, 1974. In December 2001, the locomotive was to be transferred to Siegen (on loan to EF Betzdorf). In June 2004, the locomotive was to be refurbished to be operational by Rheindampf GmbH, and the locomotive should possibly be exchanged for road number 50 3570. Meanwhile (as of April 2010) the locomotive is in a desolate condition. Rods, pumps, lights, feed valves, signs and more have been removed. In December 2012, the association Dampflokfreunde Konz e.V. was founded to preserve the locomotive and put it in a respectable condition. Thanks to the efforts of the Dampflokfreunde Konz association, work began on the renovation of the monument locomotive at the end of November 2014. On November 23, the locomotive's water tanks were removed, and the driver's cab was dismantled shortly afterwards. Originally it was planned to complete the locomotive again by summer 2015, but the necessary work was more extensive than planned. After the refurbishment in the bridge construction warehouse of the DBAG in Konz on December 7th, 2016 the locomotive was set up again as a monument locomotive in the Bahnhofstraße in Konz. The parking space for the locomotive has been covered so that good condition can be guaranteed for as long as possible. The further completion of the locomotive is planned - boiler cladding, all boiler lines, parts of the air pump and other small parts are missing.

At the Moselle bridge concert tour or at the campsite on the Konzer side, you can decide how to continue down the Moselle. Both cycle paths in the direction of Trier are recommended.
