Lac du Bouchet는 해발 약 1300m에 위치한 맑은 분화구 호수입니다. 호숫가는 숲으로 둘러싸여 있으며 머물거나 수영하기 좋은 많은 틈새가 있습니다 (방문객도 많습니다…). 레스토랑과 보트 대여점도 있습니다. 하지만 저희는 이용해보지 않았습니다. 저희는 정보가 담긴 나무 안내소(지도상의 죽은 지점)를 지나 호수를 조금 돌아간 후 Le-Bouchet-Saint-Nicholas 방향으로 트레일을 계속 걸었습니다.

Mount Recours at an altitude of 1,382m offers a magnificent view of the Devès massif and more broadly of the Massif Central. Two orientation tables also make it possible to identify the vertices.

Lac du Bouchet is a magnificent body of water suitable for swimming and walking. Indeed a landscaped path goes around it. On its southern part there is a beach and a relaxation area. You will also find at the level of its northern part a very good restaurant which serves local dishes.

The Lac du Bouchet, a circular crater lake that has been a listed monument since 1950. Since 1863, the lake has belonged to the department of Haute-Loire, which is managed with the help of the National Forest Service. There is a supervised bathing area on the southern shore. There is also a restaurant and boat rentals on site.

The trail "Sentier du Garou" is marked PR655 and leads to about 5km around the Lac du Bouchet. Among other things, a large wooden barrel ("tonneau du Garou") can be seen in which lived in the 1960s, a hermit. The way is technically not very demanding, but because of the special location highly recommended.
