The chapel is not on a main road! I grew up in Streit, have been drinking from the spring since I was a child and the water has not poisoned me yet. As far as I know, the water is not analyzed for cost reasons and that is why there is a warning that it is not drinkable.

10월 20, 2024, Confluence of the Truppach and Wiesent
Here the small Truppach, which comes from the direction of Obernsee, flows into the Wiesent. The path between Plankenfels and Nankendorf is highly recommended. It leads directly along the Wiesent, past climbing rocks, through idyllic nature and past this mouth. The paved forest path is also easy to ride on a trekking bike.

The Neubürg table mountain is the second highest elevation in the region at 587 meters, after the Sophienberg (593 meters). It is located in the Mistelgau municipality. The Neubürg was formed in the Jurassic period. The top layer consists of limestone, followed by Ornatenton and iron sandstone. The Neubürg is called a table mountain because it has a flat table surface instead of a dome. Due to the erosion-related formation, the Neubürg is also called an island or witness mountain. It stands like an island in the further eroded environment and "witnesses" the rock layers that previously covered the entire area.

If you cross the Wiesentbrücke, you have an unobstructed view of the imposing town mill, which is still in operation, with its undershot mill wheel - one of the largest in Franconian Switzerland - right on the meadow weir; at the entrance to the old town of Waischenfeld; owned by the Wehrl family since 1698, rebuilt in its present form in 1949 after a fire the year before;

Well-asphalted cycle path alongside the road between Reizendorf/Hundshof and Kirchahorn. Continuation of the section from Volsbach - Reizendorf. It is also worth leaving the road here on a racing bike.
