From the bridge over the Loire and then to the right is a drama! Too narrow, poorly visible and even dangerous. Over the road to Artias is much better.

The Saint-Paul church, from the 14th century and formerly attached to the monastery of La Chaise-Dieu, is an extension of the castle. It is easily recognizable from the surrounding area thanks to its spire at the top of its bell tower. Restoration work was undertaken in the 19th century.

In Retournac, the stone bridge that spans the Loire is called the Human Rights Bridge. Built in stone and on a model of lowered arches, the bridge and its sidewalks offer walkers pleasant views of the river and the mountains which dominate it.

Bezan is a pleasant little lake, lined with walking paths which invite you to discover its history. Among other things, a pitch oven is open to the public and allows you to better understand how pitch was used to polish ropes and laces, but also to caulk barrels, boats and houses.
