This is the cathedral of Langres.

Great spot with a kiosk.

This powder magazine was built starting in 1842, at the same time as the Langres Citadel. Buried beneath an embankment, it features a 7-meter-high storage chamber containing the barrels of black powder, as well as a surrounding ventilation gallery. Between the two are vents and lighting niches (torches were placed here, separated from the chamber by a glass pane to prevent the powder from igniting). Unfortunately, the building is only open to visitors very occasionally (during Heritage Days, for example).

A beautiful 18th-century building, boasting a vast park crossed by the Aube River, including a vast pond and an orangery. The castle is located right next to the abbey, but unfortunately it is privately owned and cannot be visited.

This kind of dry stone pyramid, to the top of which one can climb by a spiral path, is quite common in the Langres region (the most famous Escargots are undoubtedly those of Cohons). They are in fact monumental ornaments, popular for decorating the English gardens of local notables in the 19th century.
