This marble run is a really great idea. We had a lot of fun. Highly recommended for adults too. You should have a euro with you, though, or you won't get a marble.

The hut is quietly located and surrounded by rolling hills and mixed forest – perfect for a rest stop during hikes around the castle ruins or the Königsberg. 💡 Tip: Those traveling with dogs or children will find a relaxing, family-friendly break here – with a rustic atmosphere and often surprisingly empty rest areas.

🥾 Schmeltzerkopf Trail – Singletrack with a View & a Challenging Ride A narrow path leads around the Schmeltzerkopf and offers varied sections with forest floor, roots, and short climbs. Small windows open up into the landscape again and again – with views of the Lautertal Valley and towards Königsberg. A real treat for those who like a more athletic approach. Tip: It can get slippery in wet conditions – sturdy footwear is a must. Ideal as an extension to a circular tour around Wolfstein.
