A narrow, rooted path winds its way directly along the former border – a quiet, almost mystical section of the Preußensteig Trail. Light breaks through the dense canopy of leaves, while the old border marker on the tree silently tells of the past. 💡 Tip: If you look closely, you'll still discover traces of old border markers along the path – perfect for little discoveries along the way.

📝 There's a publicly accessible charging station right at the start of the Burgblick Loop. Ideal for those arriving by electric car – you can conveniently charge your vehicle here while you're on the go. The parking lot was barely full at the start of the tour, and there's a small swimming pool across the street – perfect for a refreshing dip before or after the hike. 💡 Tip: It's worth arriving early – the parking lot is quiet, but occasionally busy due to the swimming pool.
