Great bike path with nice variety

Offenbach-Hundheim station was the station for the Rhineland-Palatinate towns of Offenbach am Glan and Hundheim. It was located on the Glantalbahn Homburg–Bad Münster, which opened in 1904, along the middle section of the Altenglan–Lauterecken-Grumbach line. The pillory was, alongside the gallows, an instrument of execution in medieval jurisdiction. The penitent (or penitent woman) was chained to the corner of the house, standing on a stone pedestal. Gossips had to mock the poor sinners from the bay window room above. This jurisdiction goes back to the city rights granted to Offenbach in 1330 by Emperor Ludwig of Bavaria, but these were lost in the turmoil of the Thirty Years' War.
