The Sainte-Thérèse basilica was raised in honor of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus shortly after her canonization. Imposing neo-Byzantine style building inspired by the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre, its construction, on a height on the edge of the city, began in 1929 and its consecration took place in 1954. Today, the building welcomes more than 600,000 visitors a year.

This small town is home to no less than two castles, that of Besneray and that of Benneral. Its 12th century church is also noteworthy.

The church of Orbec has a long history, since it was given in 1030 by Richard III of Normandy to the abbey of Notre-Dame du Bec. Its architecture mixes styles due to its construction spread between the 13th, 15th and 16th centuries.

The Charentonne is a Norman river which flows into the Risle. In the town of Broglie, two bridges overlook it, offering pretty picturesque views.

The abbey church of Bernay, whose construction in the 11th century, marked the history of the region since it served as the basis for future major works of Norman architecture. It is a Romanesque building attached to the Benedictine order.
