A beautiful lake with lots of frogs and ducks. The path around the lake is overgrown with 1m-high grass in May. A shame! The Étang Philippe lake next door is hidden behind the greenery. You can choose your way back either via the gravel path or the local road.

The beds are made, the room is equipped with towels and a private bathroom, and the tourist tax is included in the price. The kitchen has everything you need, and you can leave the house almost swept clean – except for the kitchen! You can also use our saltwater pool, the pétanque court, and the large garden. We'll provide you with special items from our private home if you're looking for something. For activities in the area, you can enjoy walks, bike rides, or visits to historic towns. The Bresse route, which follows a former railway line converted into a cycle path, is accessible to all cyclists. The Bresse region is known, among other things, for its rural landscapes, its unspoiled countryside, its pretty villages, and its famous white chickens with blue feet.

Saint-Germain-du-Plain is the village which, coming from Chalon-sur-Saône, marks the entry into Bresse. It has a beautiful church as well as the remains of a fortified castle of which only one tower remains.
