Visiting the moose farm is subject to a fee, but the hike around the fence is free. With a bit of luck, you might see moose here as well. Please be considerate of the animals. Be careful with dogs and keep them away from the fence. The moose can react aggressively toward dogs.

The earlier owner of Baldersnäs, Carl Fredrik Waern, had a passionate interest in English parks that has had a very clear influence on the land surrounding the manor. Staying in the manor building, one of its wings, the annex or the newly built cottages, you can dream to the sounds of nature drifting in through your open window.

Impressive structure and we were lucky to be there at the right time. We were able to see a tourist boat being hoisted up the lock and a freight train crossing the tracks.

Being so close to the moose is very impressive, even if most of them were still young when they were fed. We then walked the entire path around the enclosure and didn't see any more moose - but that was what the staff had predicted, they usually lie in the undergrowth and are not visible. It was still a wonderful experience.

The aqueduct is one of the most visited sights in Dalsland. It is the only place where railways, waterways and roads meet.

A nice round walk along the lake and at the end you can relax and enjoy a coffee and a piece of cake, a small playground is nearby
