In Borensberg, the Göta Canal meets the Motala Ström, creating a picturesque setting where water and history intertwine. The small but beautiful harbor of Motala is located right next to the Motor Museum, a restaurant, and a hotel. There's always something going on and something to admire here.

The oldest parts of the church date back to the 13th century. The present church was built between 1772 and 1774. The tower was added in 1844.
