Beautiful how the small and large boats dance on the waves

A wonderful hike for young and old. A certain degree of surefootedness is required, as some sections involve rocks and stones. The hike is also no problem with a dog. The ferry to the island departs every few minutes and costs just 80kr per adult round trip. There are a few nice cafés at the harbor, and you can also find the occasional snack or even a larger meal. In summer, if you don't mind a bit of cold water, you can also enjoy the cool water and refresh yourself at several swimming spots. All around, an island worth seeing.

Fortress from the 17th century on a site contested by Danes and Swedes for several hundred years. Today there is a cafe and hotel there.

Björkö Hamn - Very nice island with a number of restaurants open in winter in different price ranges. In the ice house in the picture there is a microbrewery. Good ica store and store with large land/sea tap. Very good hiking trails

There is a short 2 minute ferry crossing over to Marstrand and during the day runs every 15 minutes. It is well worth leaving the car on the other side and taking the ferry as a foot passenger. Well worth exploring for half day or longer.

Here you can rent kayaks, play mini golf. There is a small fish bistro (Feske Boa) that also has coffee and cake. A brewery (https://barlindbeer.se/) where you can also buy beer and, in addition to a marina, there are also real fishing boats.

Bohus Fortress (Swedish Bohus fästning, originally Bagahus after the island of Bagaholm on which it is located, then Bahus or Båhus) is the ruins of an earlier fortress in the city of Kungälv (King's River), 20 km north of Gothenburg. It lies on a high rock above the fork in the river, where the Göta älv and Nordre älv separate. Since the Göta älv marked the border between Sweden and Norway until the Peace of Roskilde in 1658, the fortress was of considerable strategic importance as a Norwegian border security. The name of the surrounding landscape Bohuslän is derived from the fortress Bohus.

Little stone hikers bridge between Brännö island and Galterö island. The both are indeed separate islands, but it takes only this tiny bridge to connect the both. Via the bridge you can extend your Brännö hike a bit to the also rocky Galterö island.
