Ylihärmä is a small town along the Lapuanjoki river. The wooden church was constructed between 1785 and 1787. It is topped with a bell tower added in 1828, designed by the renowned architect Carl Ludwig Engel.

From this cycleway north of Vaasa, you can get out of the city in a secure and brilliant way. Enjoy the glimpses of nature, with waters and trees all around you!

Vähäkyrö ceased to exist as an independent town around a decade ago, when a referendum decided that the city would be incorporated to Vaasa. Vähäkyrö then became the first ever exclave in the history of sovereign Finland.

Karperö Beach is a good place to stay in the off-season. There is a dry toilet and down by the gym there are tables where you can sit in a sheltered area. There are also two restaurants, the smaller one on the street was also open in September.

Ylihärmän kirkko is a wooden 24-cornered cruciform church in Ylihärmä, Kauhava, Finland. The onion-headed steeple rises from the centre of the church. Construction of the church began as early as 1785 without an official building permit in order to save time. The building permit was issued in 1786 for the already 14 cubic metres high, half-finished church. The church was completed in 1787, designed and built by Kaapo Hakola.
