Along with Rauma and Porvoo, Kristinestad is one of the largest and best-preserved wooden house towns in Finland. There are several restaurants and a supermarket here. The campsite is 1 km away.

Beautiful refuge. There are steps at the beginning of the trail but then the road is doable by pushing the bike.

Comfortable camping. You need a key for the toilet and shower. Unfortunately, despite registering in advance, the key handover didn't work out. She was then no longer reachable by phone. Luckily, there were others there who let me in. The kitchen is open, but there is no door. There are pans, a microwave, a coffee machine, two old hotplates and a grill. 200 m further on is the beautiful beach with two toilets.

Particularly worth mentioning is the church roof made of wooden shingles! It is very impressive to see that the entire church, including its furnishings, is made of wood!
