The forest of Halssila lies just east of Jyväskylä and is part of the Aittovuori ridge area, offering a mix of spruce, birch, aspen, and pine woodlands with rocky outcrops and small wetlands.

Laajavuoren Korpi is a typical Central Finnish forest, dominated by spruce stands and interspersed with pines, birches, and small wetlands. There you will finde a terrain which shifts gently between rocky ridges and soft mossy ground, creating a varied and atmospheric landscape.

Step onto the wooden boardwalk and let the forest guide you. Pines and birches line your way as the planks carry you safely across soft ground and mossy wetlands. Every few meters the trees open to reveal shimmering views of Lake Vuorilampi – perfect for a pause.

Here you ride on a narrow path, completely enveloped by the lush surrounding nature. The trail winds sinuously, immersing you in a green tunnel of trees and luxuriant vegetation, where the sounds of the forest accompany you with every pedal stroke.
